Updates

March 26, 2006

After careful consideration, I have decided to shut down the site permanently and no longer update it due to Matt Morris' signing with the San Francisco Giants. That fact, along with my own time constraints, would make maintaining this site the way it should have been and should be impossible. Thank you everyone for their support and comments. I hope you enjoyed the site. I also wish Matt Morris luck with his new team though it's sad to see him gone. I have yet to decide whether I will keep the site up in its current form for people to view what had been posted since the start or delete it all. Feel free to email me if you have an opinion on that. Thanks again.

Announcement: I'm sure it's been quite noticeable by now that this site hasn't been updated in several months. I do apologize for this, but unfortunately life has gotten very busy for me and my hobbies, this site included, have had to take a back seat. I'm not throwing in the towel, and I do sincerely hope that I can at least get some small updates done in the near future. Thank you for your patience. I will continue to add links to the links page if you continue to submit your sites.

You may have noticed that I have removed the fan forum. I did not see any point in keeping it up if no one was using it so I removed it altogether. I know I still have articles and stats to update as well as add photos, but in the meantime, I added a new video clip that I am sure most will enjoy. It was an interview on Channel 4 with Tim McKernan on February 18th. It is in the Videos section under Multimedia. Enjoy.

I forgot to mention that the poll has been updated. And as far as other updates, I'm thinking about a new direction that I want to take in a few areas of the site and new enhancements so look forward to those =)

Only one small update. Just have to say I am sorry I haven't been able to update but I have had other things going on that have had to take precedence. For now, this is the best I can do, but hopefully soon the rest will be up to date. I have added the final two remaining parts to the Matt Morris interview from last year. Part three is very enjoyable =) ...I hope everyone enjoys and I hope to have some more updates soon.

I've added a new video...This is part of a 2002 interview with Matt Morris on Channel 2's Sports Final that was recorded right before last year's All Star Game. Overall, the interview is about 9 minutes long so I will be posting it probably in 3 parts. This first part is just about 3 minutes in length and can be found in the Videos section. Look for part 2 within the next few days! Hope you guys enjoy!

A HUGE and very time-consuming update for articles. I've added 73 new articles. Yep, you heard me right. 73. From all different years, including several from way back in '97 and '98 all the way up to recently. So the articles are no longer "newer additions on top"...they are in order so you have to scroll down the page and look for the word "new" to see which ones have been added on this update. I truly hope you enjoy. I've also been wondering if it would be easier for you guys to view if I divided the articles up by year or just keep them how they are in one huge list. I would really love your feedback regarding this so please email me with your thoughts or use the suggestion box. Thanks =) I'm going to try to attempt to do an update on quotes soon. There's also a new poll question.

Those who are signed up for the mailing list know the situation with updates but for those who aren't, I have had some other stuff going on lately and I was also sick with bronchitis so updates were lacking for the last month and I apologize. I just updated the Matt Morris photo gallery. I also made the decision to put 30 pictures on each page instead of the 15 that were on before because I plan to add a lot more pictures in the future and felt there needed to be more pics on each page. So while the number of galleries have been reduced, the number of pictures have not. The new pictures that I have added begin on Gallery 4 starting with pic 102. So far the Matt Morris photo gallery is the only one which has been updated and increased to 30 for each page but I do plan on doing that for the others as well. I also added a couple of new links. Hopefully later on tonight or tomorrow, I will have more updates, including articles and stats. Thanks for your patience and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Matt Morris' stats have been updated. Seven new articles have been added. I've added a new section underneath Fan Corner called Webmaster FAQ. You can use this feature if there's a question you'd like to ask me. The Wallpapers section has been moved from Fan Corner to Multimedia. I do still need to update quotes, photos, and wallpapers. Hopefully soon. Also, I have had somewhat a lack of response in general to this website. If you have some feedback for me, please let me know. I'm also looking to hear from people on what they would like to see added to the site. You can either email me or use the new Suggestion Box section underneath the Fan Corner section. All suggestions will be taken into consideration. Look for more updates soon. EDIT: I've added the beginnings of an AIM Icon section underneath the Multimedia section of the site. Look for more icons soon.

There are six new sounds in the Matt Morris sound gallery. (Sounds 10-15) Matt Morris' stats have all been updated. The Redbird Birthdays page underneath the Fan Corner section is now up. If you're wondering if any of the guys have a birthday coming up, it just serves as a quick reference. I hope to have an update on articles coming soon, as well as an update to the Matt Morris photo gallery. Also look for more wallpapers soon =)

The Matt Morris photo gallery has been updated (only a couple of new pics), as well as the Jim Edmonds, Jason Isringhausen, Steve Kline, Mike Matheny, Albert Pujols, Edgar Renteria, Scott Rolen, Jason Simontacchi, Tino Martinez, and Woody Williams galleries. A wallpapers section featuring Matt Morris wallpapers will be coming soon.

Matt Morris' photo gallery has been updated. Also, you may have noticed the link to http://www.cardinalsmerchandise.com on the main page of the site where it says "New Cards Gear!"....I would definitely recommend checking them out. They really have some great Cards merchandise over there that would be excellent for either yourself or a gift to someone else =)

I've updated Matt Morris' bio and I've updated the articles section. I still need to update quotes and stats as well as a couple of other things but I'm getting there. CONGRATS to Matt Morris for just hitting his first major league homerun (April 16, 2003) against the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2nd inning!

Well officially the whole site is back up, although not all updates that I have planned have yet been implemented. I have added a few new pics of Matt Morris in his photo gallery, including one from Winter Warm Up that Rain was nice enough to let me use. I hope everyone who wanted to has seen the Matt Morris music video I created and I hope you liked it. I'll need to add a more recent bio and stats and I hope to do that soon. Things have been pretty stressful for me but I'm not going to get into that. Just know that I haven't forgotten about the site and will be updating as often and when I can. I do love feedback on all aspects of the site so as always let me know what's on your mind or if there's something specific you want to see. Also, I'm hoping that more people will join the fan forum. And also sign the guestbook =)...If you have a website you want listed, send it over.
